Academic:

Loves to study music - way past their uni years. These gifted musicians even develop study for others...and immerse themselves in research and theory. They also tend to share their knowledge with the greater community and up and coming students.

Aspirations:

To learn about music and use that knowledge in practically every music avenue available - although many will specialise in specific genres. The opportunity to delve into musicology, composition, multi-media, electronic music and music performance.

Way to go:

Successful completion of an Honour's degree followed by an application to study a higher degree such as Doctor of Creative Arts (DCA), PhD or Master's.
